Are you able to spot and exploit opportunities?
This ability allowed me to seek out the unusual and familiar and got me to Japan, Boston, NYC and anywhere else I have wanted to go.
It is this skill that will allow you to create miracles and kick ass when the time comes.
I have learned over the years that you never, ever under any circumstances make an assumption about anyone or anything. You never know where your next break will come from or from whom.
Don’t ever pass up the chance to meet someone.
If a friend is introducing you to someone we can safely assume that the person is an ok petunia. If not, check out your friend list.
Lastly, get out of the damn house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you tell I’m crazy serious about this concept?
The internet has done an incredible service and debilitating disservice.
It has allowed everyone to believe that being on the computer and chatting away means you know people and people will call, solicit your advice or remember you when a a great opportunity emerges.
People have needs and they might even need you. Nobody is looking or waiting for you wonderful you.
Generosity comes in a variety of guises.
When you are fighting your can off to be successful, it is natural to want to take a break. When there is an offer of relief and opportunity to not work so hard, it is difficult to turn it down.
During an extremely long bout of unemployment, I was in such a state.
I had been receiving unemployment then it just stopped for some unclear reason.
In this moment of desperation, I began to doubt what I could create and who was in charge of my life. In this doubt, I asked a personal friend to sponsor me.
While making payments, I was booted of the unemployment payroll.
Again, I panicked.
Are we beginning to see a pattern here?
The better use of my time would have been to trust myself and keep going knowing I would figure this thing out and ultimately turn this around.
At the first sign of trouble, I freaked. This put me in a very desperate situation.
I was not using my best thinking which of course led to less than my best behavior.
Is it wrong to ask for, borrow or loan money?
Why would a person borrow money and what circumstances are the right ones?
If you get a call saying pay up tomorrow or you are out in the street, this is cause for borrowing.
Being in a tizzy because some paperwork has yet to appear and or go through is not.
